We would like to take a moment to encourage each one of you to take time to RIDEOUT, down the hall to your living room, and participate in the 2020 Census.  If you need assistance in completing the census, please let us know!  We have motorcycle mechanics on staff that are reaching out to assist our riders who want to be counted!

Wondering why 2020 census is important?  Here’s 5 reasons to make sure you’re counted!!

Completing the Census Helps Your Community Thrive.

If your neighborhood has a lot of traffic congestion, pot holes, people walking, dog walkers, elderly people driving slow, or over-crowded school zones, the census numbers can help your community workout public improvement strategies.

Get Help in Times of Need.

Many 911 emergency systems are based on maps developed from the last census. Census information helps health providers manage potential health risks through communities and helps to identify areas of special populations like those with higher number of motorcycle accidents, drive way tip overs, and folks who don’t know how to start or ride their bikes. When floods, tornadoes or earthquakes hit, the census tells rescuers how many motorcyclist will need their help to either move bikes to a safer location, or rescuing bikes from hazards.

Make Government Work for You.

The numbers are used to help determine the distribution of hundreds of billions of dollars in federal and state funds and provides data that will impact communities for the next decade. Funding that impacts things like smooth roads, and highways, new stunt-lots, and stadiums, as well as new, and additional race tracks (at least 3) within the city limits, more track days, as well as MSF programs, and free bike wash stations.

Reduce Risk for American Business.

Because census numbers helps the motorcycle industry reduce financial risk and locate potential markets, businesses are able to produce bike parts, and motorcycle products you want and need.

Help Yourself and Your Family.

Individual records are held confidential for 72 years, but you can request a certificate from past censuses that can be used as proof to establish your bikes age, residence, make and model in order to brag about it when you’re old. Or relationship information that could help you qualify for a pension, establish citizenship or obtain an inheritance. Right now, some of your children may be using census information to do their homework.

Because we’ve had a census every 10 years since 1790, we know how far America has come and we need your help to see how far America can go!

Now obviously, not all of the the above is true as it relates to the CENSUS, you’ll have to do your own research to find out what parts are true, but you have to admit, it was funny as hell. The purpose of this message during these times of quarantine is simply to remind you to go online, and complete your CENSUS 2020 questionnaire. It takes approx 7-10 mins.
